Google+, Google Plus, G+. Whatever you want to call it is one of the hottest and one of the fastest ever growing social networking websites going today, invites were very rare and difficult to acquire, not so much now, but there are people still out there searching for invites, being people scammed for invites and people asking what the hell Google+ is
In this second paragraph I will cut right to the chase, if you want a Google+ invite, simply just leave an email address for me in the comment field which will be seen to usually within an hour of you posting the comment as I am usually always nearby a computer so the comment you post containing the email address will be sent an invitation and immediately after the comment will be deleted to protect privacy, alternatively you can go through my other websites and email me if you found out how from the other websites, however I will not advertise my email address here
As for adding me to Google+, please do by clicking here
If you are new to Google+ or have never heard of it before I suggest you take a look at this page here to learn more about Google+ or simply by watching the video below, of course all of this will not tell you everything about Google+ but I found the best way to learn was to read that same link, watch that same video, using the actual Google search engine to find out about Google+ and joining the new social networking website I found also helped me a great deal to learn more about how everything worked
So ask for an invite and receive one, I will not scam you and I will not ask for anything in return, I am just inviting those who want to be invited out of decency, if you want to thank me though you can link to this post or my blog as a way of saying thank you, which is also not required
The point of this post and me wanting to invite you to Google+? Well I must admit I am a Google fanboy and user of many Google products, which I would also like to see others using for no specific reason. So get an invite, join me if you will and hopefully be a happy user of Google+ like I can proudly say now after about 3 days of using the service.
A Blog that covers things that I feel are important to blog about to keep some memories concrete and for others to look at and hopefully like. I will also blog about other unimportant things across a variety of subjects, just look at some old posts to see what I mean, I hope you enjoy your stay, thanks for visiting!

On the bandwagon
I am now a member of the bandwagon of the continuously growing helmet camera club. Having received the product today that I had recently purchased for £16.49 from Amazon I was like a child on Christmas morning, saying that though the packaging and contents are still in one piece
The camera I have is a clone of the more expensive Veho Muvi which I may purchase at some point if I get on well with using this clone that I have. So far even though I have not had much chance to use the camera I have recorded some short videos around the household and been playing around with an application called VirtualDub in order to remove that horrible yellow time stamp, there will be a tutorial coming soon that anyone should be able to follow as when I write the tutorial it will be in loads of easy to follow steps
I guess you thought I was not going to mention why I had not written a blog post in just over a month, well truth is there is not much reason as to why but I have seen the blog has still been getting views while I have been away so of course the blog will not be going away and the same applies to me, well if I go away again it will only be temporary, but just for a quick update I have been slightly busy while not writing on the blog, me by myself and also me and Sarah have been going out for the occasional bike ride exploring new places to ride and conquering old places. We are also eating more healthily than ever, although the smoothies have slowed down but we still drink healthily too. There is more to update on but that can be done another day as can some more blog posts like this
For now, bye bye

An update on all things biking
It has been a while since I posted about anything biking related, so what has been happening lately? Well if you follow me on Twitter you may know but I am still going to update the blog
To start off with, the tyres I recently mentioned in another post arrived, incase you were not aware or do not want to look for the post, I found 2 Maxxis High Roller 2.35 60A tyres for £10 on Ebay, and they arrived within 2 days of me buying them which made me very happy
Once tyres were unpacked it was now moment of truth time, would one of the tyres fit on the rear of the bike due to there not being much clearance? well I quickly removed the wheel, the old tyre and fitted one of the High Rollers, now I was shaking in my boots and praying the tyre would fit, once the wheel was fitted back to the bike I was very happy to see that the tyre did fit and there was still some clearance left, but not much clearance, I am not sure if I would ever get away with getting a 2.5 tyre on the rear, and I certainly will never try to get a 2.7 on the rear because I know that would certainly not fit, and the clearance I have should certainly be enough for the type of riding I do
What else? well there is not much else I want right at this moment but something I will be getting soon will be some products that stop my face and back getting covered in mud spray, yes I am of course on about mud guards, which mud guards though? well for a while I was trying to decide between two sets, both sets made by Topeak, one set included the RX and FX mudguards and the other set which is the set I will be getting includes the M1 and M2 mudguards which can be bought for quite a cheap price at £20.99 here, If you go to Amazon or a Cycles UK store you will find the same set but priced at around the £30 mark, so I am pretty sure where I will be buying from
Not much else to update on at the moment so I will leave it there for today, thank you for reading

An interesting day
Yesterday was certainly an interesting day, it started off by me having porridge oats with honey and natural yoghurt which I found very nice and the best thing of all, it was a very healthy breakfast, along with it I also had a carton of orange juice
In the early afternoon I had 2 oatcakes with cottage cheese which I did not find very nice, but I got the idea from a website with a meal plan so that is why I bought those, later in the afternoon I had granary bread toast with an olive oil based spread, with tinned mackerel fillets on top and shortly after that about an hour before the ride I had a bowl of natural yoghurt, with some honey and after finishing that I had a clementine and now it was time to start packing some supplies for on the road which included 3 clementines, 1 banana, half of a malt loaf, a cereal bar and of course a bottle of water
Now it was time to leave and go to Lakeside, 10 minutes after leaving the house it started to rain, which continued for about half of the journey so I got soaked whilst being blown around by the strong winds, but I still managed to have good adventurous fun, over an hour had passed now and my slow riding came to a stop at Decathlon in Lakeside where I was standing around for about 15 minutes just waiting for the workshop mechanic to return to the workshop to do my scheduled service which I had not yet had done since buying the bike, I thought I should get it soon as soon as possible because lately I had been hearing a very silent rattling sound coming from the rear hub which apparently turned out to be the bearings, the mechanic told me the bearings had come loose on the inside of the hub, but he did nothing with the faulty wheel, instead I got a lovely new rear wheel put on the bike and in addition to that I also had the other obvious stuff done like adjustments to the brakes and gears, so now the bike is slightly more pleasant to ride which is a bonus
After a while of waiting the service was complete and I left Decathlon and got the train home instead, because Sarah was getting hungry and wanted the dinner I said I was going to do, and me being the cook of the house I had to get the train home so I did not take forever to get home, so in future I may organize those kind of journeys for earlier times in the day
In other news later that evening I purchased a pair of Maxxis High Roller 2.35 60a tyres from a seller on Ebay for £10 including delivery which I thought was a good price to pay for a pair of those tyres, they should be getting dispatched on Saturday so hopefully I will receive them early next week, and the most important of all I hope they fit due to there not being much clearance at the rear, so I have taken a gamble, fingers crossed the gamble pays off, well I hope it does and I am not doubting too much that it will not fit, but next week I will update you all on how that all works out for me
Thank you reading, as always would be wonderful if you could comment or share this post, come back again soon

Tags
Just a quick update, added a gadget to the right hand side of this blog, it has been named Tags, most people may already know what tags are, but if you do not I will give a quick rough explanation
Whenever I make a new blog post and I talk about going out on my bike and taking photos while I am out on my bike, the tags Biking and Photography will most likely be applied, if I am reviewing a product, the tag Reviews will be applied
So now it is much easier to narrow down the posts you want to see, only want to read reviews? you would click the Reviews tag, want read about my bike journeys and not much else? click the Biking tag, want to read about everything else such as what I am up to or what I have been doing apart from Biking and all the other hobbies I love and to keep up to date on how the blog is changing? the News tag is what you want
Hope this will make for a more enjoyable and convient way of visiting the blog, if you do not like this new gadget though let me know and if I get enough responses I will just remove it

A new year and a new blog post
Let me start by wishing you all a happy new year, I hope you all have a great 2011, last night me and Sarah had a get together with my mum and my brother and sister, who came over to our place for the night, we played some fun games and listened to some music, and made quite some noise once 2011 had arrived, conclusion is, it was quite a good night
Before all that though I decided I would go out on a short bike ride to my usual place I go, yes you guessed it, Beam Valley Country Park again, I know I need to start finding more places to ride and so on, I was not in there for too long though because of lighting, I had my Knog Frog light set with me, the lights looked ultra cool, but the lights were more the kind of light for getting seen rather than seeing in the distance, so as the country park was dark I decided I would only stay in there quickly, so I did not get far, a quick review will follow soon for the lights, may not be today, but it will be soon, for now I will give the lights a quick rating out of 10, I give the lights a 7
The ETC water bottle I took out also, what I said in the review still remains the same, it is great, i would give it 8 out of 10, The water bottle did not fall out the cage once, even when lifting the bike on its back wheel to push it through a gate, sucking the bottle required required some pressure, not sure of the right wording to use here, so will leave that at that, and the see through top cap on the bottle can be irritating, although the cap does a great job I imagine at keeping the dirt and dust and other nasty things from going on to the part of the bottle you suck, so I would not let that put you off, I would still recommend this highly to anyone
Moving away from bike talk, I hope you all have a great year and a happy future
Thank for you reading, happy new year

Yesterday
It was the 29th of December and me and Sarah decided to go out to Romford, shopping, where we bought ourselves many gifts from our christmas money we received as gifts amongst other things at christmas, Sarah bought most her gifts from Disney Store and Clinton Cards, I had to buy a new camera which was the Canon A3000 IS
At first, after unboxing the camera, the camera was not as expected, some shots coming out with some blur with image stabilization on, but as I got more and more used to the functions of the camera the negative feeling that it was not what I expected it to be started to fall away and now I am gradually becoming happier than I was with my previous camera which was a Canon Powershot A460, which I had for about 3 or 4 years roughly, but with age comes faults, so I try fixing it, well I failed massively there, it involved me losing the tiniest screw, tip, never hold a tiny screw with a pair of tweezers, I did and I heard the tiny screw catapult somewhere in the living room, me and Sarah spent about 30 minutes looking for this tiny screw, only to not find it
But I was planning on getting a new camera though, so all is not too bad, once I have had a chance to use it some more I will try get a quick review up, like I did for the ETC water bottle and cage
So after leaving Romford, I went to my mums with Sarah, Followed by my aunts which was kind of like a quick christmas get together, so yesterday went well, I guess apart from Tatty though who was left at home from about 10am until about 7pm with only one feed at 8am, well she was still her usual self anyway once we got back
So stay tuned for more posts and an upcoming review of the camera, and hopefully eventually I get out to try them bike lights I have not yet tried out, I will get a review up of them eventually though, for now that is all, so thank you for reading

A new update
Not been updating much lately, I guess most people will understand why, I hope you all had fantastic christmases, my christmas this year was not too bad, I got plenty of good presents for a start, all the familys had to be fit in over 3 days, it kind of reminded me of the movie four christmases, just not as insane as that movie though, my favourite day was boxing day which was just me, Sarah and Tatty at home, played some games including Jenga and kind of got exhausted cooking the dinner, the beast of choice was pork
I could go on for ages, but I will not incase I send you asleep with all the details, so I am leaving the christmas update as a quick update
In other news I broke my faulty digital camera trying to fix it, well technically, I lost a screw that was insanely tiny, my career in trying to fix things with extremely tiny screws is over before it got started, but as I got money for christmas, I have money that will will be going towards a new camera which will be a Canon Powershot A495 or a Canon A3000 IS, most like will be the A3000 IS but I will of course update once I get the camera, which could be as soon as tomorrow most likely
There is not much else to update on, it is kind of late now, so I am going to leave it there and will write more when I do, which could be tomorrow or the next day
Thank you for reading

Just a quick update
This is just to update you all on everything, will post a review soon hopefully of the Knog Frog lights, as yes they did come, they come 2 days ago, but still no sign of my water bottle and cage set though
changing the subject, there is a new video of Tatty, our kitten, on YouTube which hopefully someone reading this will find funny, well, we did, you can take a look here and would be great if you could comment on the video
changing subject again, I have updated this blog and added more gadgets and features, the new gadgets include a slideshow of my Picasa albums, but I can only select one album, but I will change the slideshow to different albums occasionally, I also added more links, now there are links to my Panoramio and Picasa albums, there is also now a followers feature too which some people may find useful? but if not I may just remove it and below that is a search box to search this blog, so if you want to find a specific blog post, it is now much easier, just type whatever you want in the search box and hope it comes up with results, and finally there is a hit counter right at the bottom of the page, at the moment it is only at 131 views, but views for this blog are up and down every day and my only way of promoting it is by Twitter, if you want to help out you can, just link to this blog, the short link is http://bit.ly/kevsblog if you need a short link, would be great if you could help
That is about all for now, so thank you for reading and remember to come back soon

Knog Frog Strobe
Yesterday I decided to purchase a set of Knog Frog Strobe lights from Amazon, these ones to be exact
Hope to be able to use them as soon as possible, just depends on my temporary trouble with my foot, still may have to just go out though when they arrive as I will not be able to wait too long, plus the pain in my foot I can not feel much while riding a bike, it is just when walking mainly
On another note, my ETC water bottle and cage set has not yet turned up, add that to the list of many things I am waiting to arrive, I guess Royal Mail could be to blame here, please Royal Mail deliver my ETC bottle and cage set to me on Monday so I can stay hydrated the next time I go out, At the moment I do take a string type back pack with me when I go out with a bottle inside, just a Drench water bottle that I use again and again
All I got to decide now is where to mount the the cage on the frame, I have two options
So back to the Knog Frog set, once I receive theme I will be sure to test them as soon as I can, I have been watching videos in anticipation and the lights are tiny, but apparently super bright, so that will be interesting to see once I go out with them on my bike
Thank you for reading and I will update once I receive my goodies

Achilles heel injury or something else
For about a week now I have been suffering from pain in the back of my left foot, now I am not sure if it is my achilles or what it is, at first I thought it was an achilles tendon injury, but the other day after getting back from town after doing the rest of the christmas shopping I noticed right on the back of my heel was a lump, it felt like a squidgy thing on the back of my heel, the size of the lump was as if you had an imperial mint and cut a quarter of its size off
Today the pain is still at the back of my heel but not much of a lump like the other day, it only gives me pain when I have any trainers on my foot, so the pain must occur whenever the lump comes in contact with anything, like the back of a trainer
Have no idea what this is but hope that it goes soon, because today I did want to go out on a bike ride, but it seems each time I do go out I make it worse each time, could it be the shocks and impacts that my foot takes when I am riding on rough surfaces?
I am not sure but I do hope this goes soon as it is irritating

Update
Not been a blog post for a while, just wanted to let you all know, nothing much has happened for me to blog about lately, rode to Barking, Essex the other day with Sarah in the light rain to do some things we had to do, money related
Apart from that, not much else has been happening, but I recently purchased this ETC water bottle and cage set for £7.14 from Amazon that I may give a quick review once I get it, which is hopefully today
Something else I should be ordering from Amazon soon will be some frogs, Knog Frogs that is, the Knog Frog Strobe front and rear set of black lights for £13.84 from Amazon that I should get once I get another voucher for Amazon that I usually get for completing surveys from online survey panels like Valued Opinions
Also, finished all the Christmas shopping yesterday, I do love Christmas but at the same time I hate the fact that it is a bad time of the year financially, but I will still enjoy Christmas, well I should do
Not much else to update on at the moment, but I will keep you updated whenever the time comes that I need to make another post
Thank you for reading

Tatty
As I said in an earlier blog post this blog will be for all things good in my life that I will post about
Well recently we took on a kitten, we paid £30 for her, her name is Tatty, she was born October 26th, 2010, and that is quite strange as according to my mum I was due that day, but I was born October 31st, but enough about me already.
So we went to view Tatty about 2 weeks ago, and we had to wait about 2 weeks which seemed a long time but in reality was not too bad of a wait, due to her being too young or something to leave yet, so those 2 weeks went quicker than i expected which was good, so we brought her home on the 8th December 2010
The first day and night she seemed nervous, do not blame her, that night she went to bed quite easily and with not much fuss, but me and and my partner Sarah woke up at 6am the following morning, questioning why she is not awake yet, so we was concerned, but for no reason as we got out of bed to get Tatty from her sleeping place and after doing her stretches she was ready to go and have fun and cause some chaos
It is has been pretty much the same every day now, but last night was trouble, 11pm we all were meant to go to bed, Tatty took ages to get to sleep though as she kept wanting to get up on the bed with us, but she got to sleep eventually, but at 3am me and Sarah woke up as nature called, so Tatty must of thought it was time to wake up, oh no, so we had to put her in a pet carrier that was lined with blankets and her soft toy
Oh and that morning, she decided to wet herself on our bedding, our duck feather duvet, I think that was our fault though for getting her up on the bed and playing with her before she had gone toilet and wet the litter, but no she decided to wet the duck feather duvet, which made me quite sad, so had to get a cheap argos value duvet as a replacement one, I guess she thought if I can not sleep in luxury, you will also not sleep in luxury
Well thank you Tatty, but please do not do that again, let us hope she does not
That is about all there is to say at the moment, I will continue to post about Tatty occasionally, I guess it is just when she let's me as she is always attached to me, which is a good thing
Thank you for reading

Hot chocolate winner
So about one day ago I won a competition with Express but yet only 10 people had a chance of winning and at one point Cadbury was a trend on Twitter, and I did see many retweets for this competition, as this competition required you to follow @Daily_Express and retweet a tweet, once you had done that you had entered the competition
Now I was already a fan of Daily Express, but now I am more of a fan than I have ever been, although I do not read newspapers much as most my news and gossip I get from Twitter, Facebook and the news like BBC News
So the prize I won was a 2 month supply of Cadburys Hot Chocolate and what that includes is apparently 2 tubs of the stuff, I did google Cadbury hot chocolate tub, and it came up with results for 1kg and 2kg tubs, I have no idea what I will be receiving and I do not know when I will be receiving my prize, but they have my name and address so it just a matter of waiting now I guess

Advantages of England 2018 not happening
So loads of people are angry that England 2018 will not be happening, although I rarely follow football I understand how much it means to many football fans
I could be wrong as I am no financial advisor but as far as debt goes was it not a good thing to happen? We got the 2010 Olympics but look how much of a mess that has turned out to be at times and look how much debt and how much trouble London is going to just so London 2012 will be successful, I hope London 2012 is a success and I think it will be
As for England not getting the 2018 World Cup though, I guess it will defiantly save us headaches as far as debt goes, that is if you care about the economy?
But I could be wrong, I am not too sure how much it would have cost if we did get the 2018 World Cup but when I take a guess all I see is loads of pound signs because of what has happened with the 2012 Olympics
So well done to Russia
